More than an actor
Students encounter the many disciplines and responsibilities that turn an idea into a shared performance.
Student agency
Students are encouraged to initiate, lead, manage and believe that their ideas can make a difference.
Some students have gone on to create their own groups and teams; three student-created groups have emerged so far.
Peer mentoring
Older performers can take responsibility for younger performers, developing empathy, teamwork and peer leadership. The academy follows the same overall approach across ages, with generally lighter workloads for younger students.
